Mining cabinet secretary and United Democratic Alliance party member Mr Salim Mvurya has gone viral on social media platforms after what he said today.Mining Cabinet Secretary Salim Mvurya has asked a Kakamega court to appoint a mediator to help resolve a dispute he has with his daughter after she sued him for neglect.
Taking a look at the case which was filed at Kakamega Chief Magistrate’s court the cabinet secretary Mr Mvurya has been sued by his firstborn daughter Yvonne Anono Omanzi and expressed willingness to support her even as she is a grown woman who should take care of herself.Mr Mvurya the mining cabinet secretary said his grown girl resorted to legal action without engaging him first even though he was willing to support her as long as the support she requested was making some sense at the Very least.
He said via his lawyers that he was however not stone hearted as may be her daughter was not in a position to help herself and that he was willing to help her financially if only she gave him a very good reason to that as per the court’s ruling.The normal age in which parental supports ends is 18years anyway and the woman is older than that and the cabinet secretary may now only decide to help her daughter out of sympathy.
