Hours after Azimio la Umoja one Kenya Coalition leaders announced the return of mass action rallies, Ruto’s Kenya Kwanza camp has finally responded.

Speaking as captured by a report covered on KTN news, UDA secretary general Cleophas Malala slammed Azimio’s move urging them to accept the outcome of parliament decision.

According to Malala, the opposition should accept after being defeated over numbers by Ruto’s camp in the parliament.

” If your proposals are brought in parliament and defeated on the basis of numbers, accept because that is encapsulated in the constitution and therefore you should not fight the same constitution that you fought for”, Malala said.

Malala’s statement comes off after Narc Kenya party leader Martha Karua announced that the coalition will have a public engagement on 27th June at Kamukunji grounds.

The plan is to stage mass action demonstrations against the punitive finance bill that was endorsed by members of parliament affiliated to Ruto’s Kenya Kwanza.

Karua who was flanked by former Murang’a governor Mwangi Wa Iria and jubilee secretary general Jeremiah Kioni among others noted that Mr Odinga will be back in the course of the week ahead of much awaited engagement with kenyans.
