Ruto Stamps Authority, Names What Won't Happen as Long as He's in Power

His Excellency President William Ruto has now roared in Machakos as he stamps authority against violence in Kenya.

In an obvious onslaught against the opposition leader who also doubles as Azimio La Umoja One-Kenya coalition boss, Raila Odinga, President Ruto has once again said he won’t allow any form of violence any mayhem in the country as long as he’s still in power.

The president reiterated that political competitions should not be driven in violence and and chaos. He welcomed dialogue as the best way of airing views from either side of the political divide.

“We will not compete in violence in Kenya. That one I said won’t happen. Mambo ya vita na kupiganisha watu Kenya nimesema hapana. Haiwezi endelea hapa Kenya nikiwa rais. Hiyo tukubaliane,” President Ruto said.

This comes at a moment where his Kenya Kwanza men and those from the opposition side are locking horns over the expected ceasefire dialogue. The issues being proposed by Kenya Kwanza seems to be different from what Azimio wants to discuss.
