Ruto Speaks On Ongoing Scheme To Topple His Government By August, Calls For Help

The president of the Republic of Kenya stated that he is aware of an orchestrated scheme aimed at toppling his government by August this year. Ruto argued that top officials within Azimio La Umoja One Kenya coalition party have declared war against him and that they are willing to do everything to remove him from power.

In that regard, the president vowed to deal with Azimio in a manner that wil make them go slow on their plans to ouster him from his position as the President. Ruto also urged members of Parliament to be the frontline spies in a bid to enable him receive intelligence reports regarding Azimio’ s plans. He also pleaded with lawmakers who believe in his leadership to ensure that no protests are organized in their constituencies.

During a meeting that the president organized with Kenya Kwanza Lawmakers, the MPs resolved to counter the demonstrations planned for Wednesday, Thursday and Friday next week with full force. The Mps stated that they will soon launch a campaign dubbed ” keep off demonstrations” in a bid to deprive Raila Amolo Odinga the youths who participate in protests. Further reports insinuate that the lawmakers warned Ruto against accommodating Raila in government through handshake.

The lawmakers also agreed not to complain when police officers arrest the chief organizers of Azimio’ s protests. This development comes at a time the Kenya Kwanza regime of President William Samoei Arap Ruto has totally failed to honor its campaign promises.

Records have it that Ruto promised to utilize his first 100 days in office to achieve a number of good things in a bid to cushion the cost of living. However, nearly a year after taking over power from Uhuru Kenyatta, Ruto is yet to make his promises come true.
