The Raila-Ruto reunion is now becoming imminent following the latest developments on what’s going on.
Barely a day since President William Ruto took to his social media handles to invite the former Prime Minister Raila Odinga for a dialogue, details have informed that there’s a committee that’s expected to be formed by the two political camps.
According to insiders who exclusively spoke to Daily Nation with request of anonymity, the committee will constitute only six members. Raila’s wing will forward three members and President Ruto’s camp will also forward three leaders to the committee.
With the six members from both political divides, the international community is expected to be the ‘go between’ the two camps in brokering a deal that’ll eventually see Rail and President Ruto reconcile.
On that regard, the three leaders will be the actual representatives of Raila and Ruto during the meeting that’s reportedly coming up very soon. The president had earlier informed that he’ll be open to kick off the talks with Raila once he returns from his trip to Tanzania.
