Peter Kelerwa Salasya is now the representative for Mumias East Constituency in Kenya.
He became a member of parliament for the first time after the general election on August 9, 2022.
He was born on January 15, 1989. He is the second youngest of seven siblings. The person who is going to be a Member of Parliament, their dad, whose name is John Salasya, died in 2007 when they were in the second year of high school.
He became a leader for the first time when he ran to be the Director of Academics at Egerton University during his first year. He attempted, but was not able to succeed.
He kept trying to become a leader in his third year of college. This time, he tried to become the vice chairman of the student council but did not succeed.
After he finished college in 2014, he got a job selling bicycles. Then, he decided to try teaching.
He was in charge of operations at Diamond Trust Bank (DTB) before he became involved in politics.
In 2005, the smart 32-year-old person was a student at Shianderema Primary School before taking the Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) exam. He went to Lubinu Boys High School after finishing school.
