The leaders of opposition led by the former prime minister Raila Odinga odinga together with the former vice president Kalonzo Musyoka are currently addressing a huge rally in makueni as they head for a funeral service of one of the demonstrators who was shot dead during the recent protests.
The huge crowd gathering along the roadsides where the opposition chief, together with his team, is making a statement on the recent police brutality that saw more than 30 individuals killed by the anti-riot police.
According to Raila odinga, the dialogue that was proposed by the opposition and the government is not a way of seeking a handshake between the government and the opposition.
Raila reiterating that he will continue to fight for the rights of Kenyans noting that top of the agenda in the discussion is the high cost of living which has continued to take a toll on a majority of Kenyans.
He has issued a one-month ultimatum to the bipartisan team to complete the talks and come up with resolutions.
