Popular Azimio Blogger Under Fire After Comparing Nyeri To Kisumu Town In Morning Post

Taking it to his social media page, popular Azimio blogger and a strong critic of the Ruto Administration Gabriel Oguda has been subject criticism after his controversial post in which he compared Nyeri town to Kisumu City.

In what looked like a direct attack of the Mt. Kenya region, the Azimio blogger who captioned his post, ‘tears in my eyes’ insinuating that Kisumu City is more advanced and more developed than Nyeri town despite the fact that they are not ‘shareholders’ in Government.

Kenyans have since reacted with many terming that remarks as violent and unfair comparison. Statistically however, Nyeri town is considered to have a higher GDP per Capita compared to Kisumu town according to one Twitter user.

One Twitter user even pointed out to the fact that, Kisumu being a town is more developed structurally but Nyeri is richer. See the reaction from a section of Kenyans;
