Governor Dhadho Godhana crowned Pokomo kingpin

Tana River Governor Dhadho Godhana has been crowned because the Pokomo group kingpin.

Godhana will search to defend his seat on ODM ticket within the upcoming basic election.

The crowning took a number of hours, with the primary part being held at 4am on Wednesday at Handampia Village.

The Pokomo Council of Elders presided over the flowery ceremony, which was strictly anchored on tradition and custom.

Later mid-morning, Raila Odinga, who’s the Azimio la Umoja-One Kenya presidential candidate and ODM chief, paid the governor a courtesy name.

The two later launched into political rallies at Garsen and Magarini areas.

The Pokomo elders stated they bestowed the kingpin honour on Ghodhana as a result of “he has been committed to restoring peace and stability in the county”.

In his re-election marketing campaign, Ghodhana stated he’s looking for to resettle at the least 60,000 constituents who’ve been affected by perennial floods.
