Leslie was allegedly abducted by police officers alongside those from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) while he was alongside the Azimio la Umoja lawmaker.
Embakasi West Member of Parliament (MP) and National Assembly Deputy Minority Whip, Mark Mwenje, has demanded the immediate release of Leslie Muturi, the son of Attorney General Justin Muturi.
Viral Tea has learnt that Leslie was allegedly abducted by police officers alongside those from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) while he was alongside the Azimio la Umoja lawmaker.
Speaking in a video shared online, Mwenje, who voted against the Finance Bill, decried that Leslie was taken by the police on the road within the Lavington and Kilimani areas while Mwenje was following him.
“My friend Leslie Muturi, son to Justin Muturi AG has just been hijacked by the police here on the road. I was the one following him,” Mwenje revealed, showing the car he was riding in as well as the car Mwenje was following him. The duo were in the company of their friends.

The lawmaker added that he had notified members of the public regarding the incident, appealing for help to track down the police officers who had abducted him, in the hopes of finding Leslie.
“The police who have taken him, we are here and we are going to find you guys. Release him right now,” Mwenje demanded.Â
“We have informed everybody in this Nairobi. Gen Z, help us find Leslie Muturi…today we won’t sleep, and the cops are telling us they don’t know where he is.”
Mwenje furthermore disclosed the description of the officers responsible, which he said he captured alongside the vehicle they were riding in and its number plate when the incident occurred.
“The guys who have taken him are cops and I’m the one who has seen it. It is a white hardtop Land Cruiser the old one. We saw you guys, dressed in combat…we know you guys, we have the plates. Release Leslie Muturi right now,” he reiterated.
Justin Muturi has yet to issue a statement on the alleged abduction.
