Former Prime Minister Raila Odinga on Friday confirmed to the country that he has been sick and that is why he never attended the Anti-government protests he had called for.

The Orange Democratic Movement party boss who has only been issuing statements through his official social media pages opened up on his battle with flu which he described as a serious one.
Raila disclosed that the condition could not allow him to have public public engagements. He even refuted claims that he held a meeting with some envoys.
Reacting to what the former prime minister has been going through, Nairobi county women representative Esther Passaris penned l down a powerful message to his party boss as she wished him a quick recovery.

In her statement, the Nairobi lawmaker noted that Raila should recover faster as his family including his spouse Dr Ida Odinga and his children need his happiness
“Sending all my love and healing thoughts to you, @RailaOdinga. Get well soon! Your well-being is always in my prayers. May God shower you with strength and restore your health swiftly. You, Mama, and the entire family deserve all the happiness and blessings life has to offer.” The Nairobi County Women Representative posted on her official social media pages.
The Lawmaker message comes at a time she is being seen as Rebellious especially after she went against the Orange Democratic Movement party’s stand and voted for the Finance Bill which the party has been opposing. The decision to work with Government has also been under Criticism.
