The embattled Siaya County deputy Governor Hon William Oduol got hard times at the senate after he was asked a tough question involving procurement plans approval at the county where he said that he wasn’t sure if the procurement on the tenders on the supply of health equipment followed the right procedure because he wasn’t in a position to approve.
He said that he needed time to respond to the question as the leaders at the senate asked him about his relationship with the stakeholders in different departments despite his relationship with the Governor Hon James Orengo being in wrangles.
He sent a plea to the leaders and the members of the senate to enhance equality while handling the case because impartiality is what brought down the relationship at the county level. He urged all the members to push for good leadership because that is what will protect our devolution.
