The Senator for Busia has spoken about the safety of Finance Bill Court documents after office raid by unknown thugs. The Senator has affirmed that, the documents are safe and the petition against the finance Bill will go on as planned.
Okiyah Omtatah has linked the office raid to his case against the finance Bill. This is because, after the office raid, the computers and papers is what was taken from office.

Okiyah Omtatah case against the finance Bill has dealt the government of president William Ruto a huge blow. Several taxes have been suspended by court and the government is struggling hard to raise revenue to run it’s affairs.
Okiyah Omtatah has however maintained that, his opposition to the Finance Bill has nothing against President Ruto. He is clear that, his case is based on the premise of ensuring that the rule of law is followed to the letter for that’s something extremely important.
