Kenya is set to face a higher economic burden following the passing of the 2023 financial bill, the controversial bill got its way through the floor of parliament and it recommends the addition of tax on several commodities among them fuel and also the introduction of the housing fund.
Former prime minister Raila Amollo Odinga and the now leader of the Azimio La Umoja One Kenya alliance have announced the return of the nationwide protests against the Kenya Kwanza regime majorly because of the passing of the financial bill.
Omosh Jakababa is one of the strong supporters of the Azimio La Umoja One Kenya alliance and he has been making his say loud through the Bunge La Mwananchi session at Jacaranda grounds in Nairobi. He has broken the silence about the return of the protests, he says that this time they are not going to participate in protests in favor of others who are relaxing.
Omosh Jakababa has said that the united democratic alliance allies want them to go to protests but that will not be the case, he this time round everyone must participate in the protests and his home area, he has asked Raila to deploy Kalonzo to the lower Eastern region, George Wajackoyah to the Western Kenya region and others so that they can be sure the protests will be all over the country and not only in Nairobi.
Omosh Jakababa says that the people of Nairobi are not the only ones who know about the protests but even the fee increment has affected everybody including the people of Mount Kenya. He wants the people to get out on the road so that they can send a clear message to William Ruto that they are tired of his government.
