Maurice Ogeta, the Orange Democratic Movement Party Leader’s two-decade bodyguard, said this morning that the undercover police utilized a car with Sudanese license plates before kidnapping him as he was on his way to respond to a call from Raila Odinga.
The Trained Security detail spoke as reported by the standard, describing how he was ambushed by guys in masks as he was making his way to work without being informed of the nature of his arrest.
A vehicle with a Sudanese license plate rushed by him at the car wash. According to him, a second unmarked automobile joined the first and parked a short distance away.
“Even though they didn’t get out of their vehicles, I could sense they were communicating. I became suspicious but concluded it was just a security patrol ahead of the anti-government demonstrations,” he said.
All the same, it remains to be seen whether the government will take any action regarding Ogeta’s arrest.
