Ahead of much awaited climatic summit in Nairobi, the event which is expected to be graced by top delegates has suffered a major setback.
As relayed by a report covered on kenyans.co.ke, Pakistan caretaker Prime minister Anwarul Kakar has allegedly cancelled to three day visit to kenya which was slated on 4th September.
The report adds that current situation in his country which includes high cost of living and inflated electricity bills resulted into mass action demonstrations that has therefore hampered his visit to the country.
It should be noted that the minister was among the 25 top delegates that are expected to grave the African climatic summit in Nairobi at KICC.
The event will be inaugurated by President William Ruto who has been championing for climatic changes across the world.
On the other side, Azimio la Umoja one Kenya Coalition’s leaders led by former prime minister Raila Odinga have rebuked president William Ruto’s recent threats to cartels.
Speaking today, Mr Odinga warned the head of state against issuing threats to Kenyans saying the country isn’t his.
It should be noted that president William Ruto threatened to jail cartels and corrupt individuals, a sentiment that sparked sharp reactions from Kenyans online and lobby groups.
The group demanded for an apology from president William Ruto who in response, claimed he’s only working to end corruption and misappropriation of funds in the country.
