Azimio coalition leader Raila Odinga has broken his silence following the overthrowing of Gabon President by the military.
According to the video shared, Raila Odinga admitted that Ali Bongo was his great friend but since the military opened the servers and realize he was not the winner, Raila claimed that he will also be happy if the IEBC opens the servers so that the truth can be put open and the winner and the loser be known.
“Mliona kule Gabon walifanya mapenduzi juzi baada ya uchaguzi ambayo bwana Ali Bongo alitangazwa kama President, lakini jesho ikipofungua server ilipata Bongo alikuwa na kura 17% na mpinzani wake alipata 77% ndio maana sisi pia tunataka server ifunguliwe ndio ukweli ijulikane,” Raila Odinga said leaving the crowd in laughter.
This comes after military in Gabon overthrew President Ali Bongo as they claim that he did not genuinely win the elections that were held few weeks ago.
