Western Kenya is set to greatly benefit from President William Ruto’s 5-day visit in the region, with the first three days having already seen the head of state write off Nzoia Sugar Company debts amounting to KES 50B and as well launching several road projects.
With such other projects like invention of digital labs in most of the technical institutes in the region, elevation of Sang’alo Institute to a national polytechnic and the launch of aggregation centres in each of the four Western Kenya Counties, Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi has lauded the President for making sure that the transformative plan set by government takes shape.
Speaking in Vihiga County on Tuesday afternoon, Hon. Musalia opined that the housing program which is now steadily becoming a reality is a scheme that will benefit not only the urban households but also the rural population.
He assured residents that they will be able to access quality, spacious and safe dwelling places at an affordable price.
