A moment of laughter has been witnessed in the National Assembly after Speaker Moses Wetangula sent a warning to nominated MP Sabina Chege after finishing her suspension.
According to the video shared, Wetangula who was responding to a request by Chege to make a formal address to the house cautioned her not to make a remarks regarding to her suspension she was serving after going against the flow of the house two weeks ago.
“Hon Chege had asked me for an opportunity to make a personal statement and I caution you Sabina if it has anything to do with your suspension or fracas that happened here I will stop you I don’t want any drama any more,” Wetangula warned.
The lawmaker then went ahead and claimed that she was attacked by Azimio MPs who later snatched her phone, she however made a statement calling all lawmakers to embrace unity and have a way of agreeing to an individual who holds divergent opinions instead of causing commotion that can cause unnecessary injuries that can be avoided.
