MPs Burst Into Laughter After MP Ken Chonga Lectured Kimani Ichung’wah In Parliament

A moment of laughter has been witnessed in the national assembly after Kilifi South member of Parliament and majority leader Kimani Ichung’wah clashed following the debate on how the government will determine needy students in the new sponsorship system.

According to the video shared, Ichung’wah tabled a 48-psge evidence on how the government will be sponsoring needy students something that MP Chonga wanted a clarification. This forced Ichung’wah to claim that if his counterpart has a problem in reading he should consult a friend.

“If Hon Ken Chonga has difficulties in reading should consult, the letter I have tabled has 48 pages,” Kimani Ichung’wah said something that irritated Chonga.

“I want to make it very clear that I went to school, I’m a holder of masters in Business Administration and and I am doing PhD. This is an insult to me for majority leader to say I have a problem in reading, kindly withdraw that statement,” Chonga said.

More laughter emerged after Ichung’wah cracked a joke from Chonga’s statement where he said he is ‘doing’ PhD as Ichung’wah corrected him quickly that one can not do PhD but instead one studies PhD.
