Slyvanus Osoro is the member of parliament for South Mugirango constituency in Kisii county, she is serving his second term as a member of Parliament having been elected for the first time in 2017 and got re-elected last year during the 9th August 2022 general elections on a United Democratic Alliance ticket.
The parliamentarian has a close relationship with the president and he is holding a lucrative position, the majority whip of the national assembly of Kenya. Osoro represents the majority who are the Kenya Kwanza alliance against the Azimio One Kenya Alliance who are the opposition.
Slyvanus Osoro has today attended a burial in South Mugirango constituency, he has found an issue with Kisii MCAs saying that they came to the burial earlier but when they heard that governor Simba Arati will not be attending the burial, they entered their cars and left one by one. The member of parliament has mocked the MCAs saying that they fear the governor so much because he threatnens them.
