Even though he published photos of the vehicle in a cream-white colour, he did not reveal details on how he acquired the car.

Lawyer and activist Morara Kebaso on Wednesday, September 4 showcased a Toyota Prado which he acquired to travel across the country to further his Civic Education efforts on good governance.

Kebaso took to X to reveal the vehicle he had procured as he aims to educate Kenyans on their rights at a time when the current government continues being called out for misuse of public funds.

In the course of his announcement, he called on Kenyans with skills in graphic design to help him brand the vehicle to match his purpose.

“Graphic Designers. It is your time to do the Lord’s Work. We got the car to put up the public address system. We need a design for branding and wrapping,” he stated.

Kebaso announced that he would embark on a civic education across the country starting Friday, September 6 when he will meet Kenyans, particularly from the Mt. Kenya region.

“Mount Kenya Delaunch Caravan Starts on Friday 6th. Murang’a, Kirinyaga, Embu, Tharaka Nithi, Meru, Isiolo. Meet Up Point is National Oil Kenyatta University Next to Unicity Mall. As usual make sure you budget for your fuel/fare, food and upkeep,” he added.

He noted that the campaign was aimed at sensitizing Kenyans on the truth and to engage the public on how to make quality decisions at the ballot.

“Take note this is a campaign against bad governance and corruption. The mission is to make the truth known and to engage the public on how we can make quality decisions at the ballot.

“We will also talk about citizen mob audit and accountability. They bought the opposition and pocketed parliament. They thought we were powerless and afraid of kidnap and torture. We will rewrite our story,” he went on.

Morara’s latest update comes after he commended Kenyans for going out of their way to raise funds so that he could purchase a public address system.

So overwhelming were the contributions that Morara revealed that they had surpassed the limit on his mobile money account, which was at Ksh499,999, a matter which prompted him to ask the contributors to pause as he found other alternatives to receive their contributions.

“Good evening. I thank you all for your contributions towards our mission. The mobile money account is full and the transaction limit has been exhausted. Kindly I request you to stop sending until tomorrow. Please,” he told his followers.

“Kenyans have bought me a super clear presidential address system. Boy oh boy. You should see me use it. I will educate and educate and educate. I will walk around with translators like a pastor in a crusade.”

Morara on September 3 requested Kenyans to fundraise Ksh1.2 million for a presidential sound or a middle sound worth Ksh838,200, which he broke down and asked Kenyans to review the quoted prices and verify if they were within the market rates.
