Nyali Member of Parliament Honourable Mohammed Ali, has now told Kenyans to stop lying to former ODM Party leader Raila Odinga that he would have turned the economy within one year had he won the last year’s general elections.
In a statement on Twitter, the firebrand United Democratic Alliance (UDA) party politician said that turning the economy around requires more time as is the case that President William Ruto is yet to turn the economy around as it was part of his narratives during the 2022 presidential campaigns.
“Raila Odinga himself knows that he cannot turn around the economy within a year even if he’s given power today,” posed Mohammed Ali.
Mohammed Ali’s sentiments comes even at a time when the Azimio La Umoja One Kenya Coalition declared the resumption of street demonstrations after they failed to agree on the bipartisan talks with their members from the Kenya Kwanza Coalition.
