Nyali Member of Parliament Mohammed Ali, popularly known as ‘Jicho Pevu,’ has sparked widespread astonishment among Kenyans with his recent claim that a known family is funding the chaos expected to unfold during the upcoming Azimio demonstrations.
Taking to his Twitter platform, Ali expressed his shocking allegations earlier today noon time.
Ali went on to assert that he possessed knowledge of a meeting taking place in Mombasa, where Azimio Members of Parliament from the Coastal region had been invited as guests. According to his claims, local MPs are purportedly being used as conduits by the ‘powerful family’ to finance young individuals who will actively engage in disruptive activities during the demonstrations.
In a somewhat mocking tone, Ali took a dig at the implicated MPs, suggesting that their involvement tarnishes the image of Mombasa and presents a negative portrayal to its residents and to the world, as it sources most of its revenues from Tourism.
