Speaking in Kirinyaga County today, EALA MP boldly told President William Ruto that he did not vote for him in last year’s August 9 elections. That he was busy endorsing Raila with the help of Martha Karua but they ended up losing terribly in the mountain region.
Kega said, “Wacha niseme ukweli kwa sababu tuliambiwa na Riggy G tuwe tunasema ukweli. Mimi tarehe tisa mwezi wa nane mwaka uliopita sikupatia mdosi (Ruto) kura. Nilikuwa nasukumana na mzee kwa mlima tukiwa na Martha. Lakini Ile kuanguka tulianguka…(Let me say the truth because Riggy G told us to be truthful. Last year on August 9 I did not vote for Ruto. I was endorsing Raila together with Martha Karua but we lost badly).”
He went further to tell the NARC party leader that if she continues supporting Azimio he will ensure that they fail now that he is supporting President Ruto.
He said, “Nataka tu niambie Martha, huko ambako uko tutawafanyia hiyo kitu sasa nikiwa upande wa wa boss. (I want to inform Martha that if she continues staying wherever she is we will beat them again now that I am on Ruto’s side).”
