Kenyan comedian Kendrick Mulamwah has given fans a glimpse of his soon-to-be-completed mansion.
Sharing an update on Instagram on Friday, November 15, 2024, the entertainer expressed pride in the progress of his home while urging his followers to remain patient and focused on their goals.
He encouraged people not to feel pressured by timelines but to focus on moving at their own pace.
“Maskan inakuja pole pole tu, kumaliza ndio joto lakini almost done 💪, nyumba inaongea kizugu sasa 😂Pace ni pole pole tu, let no one pressure you. Move slow, move correctly,” he said.
Mulamwah also took the opportunity to acknowledge Kenyan rapper Khaligraph Jones, who recently moved into his own luxurious mansion after years of construction.
“Proud of Khaligraph Jones, kitu umefanya aint easy to achieve. To anyone else out there, it’s all possible – baraka tele, Mungu mbele.”
Mulamwah has been sharing updates on his mansion since he began the project.
In October 2023, Mulamwah offered a sneak peek of the construction by sharing a video from the rooftop of the yet-to-be-completed lavish property.
The video featured Mulamwah alongside his partner Ruth K.
“Pole pole tu, inawezekana. God has been great; let no one tell you that you can’t!!! Trust in yourself, believe in your dreams, pray to God, and do your best. One day you’ll sit back and say I did it,” he captioned.
Celebs’ mansions
The 32-year-old is among other public figures like Otile Brown, Size 8, DJ Mo, and former ‘Maria’ actress Dorea Chege in the mission of constructing their own homes.
In a past interview, Brown highlighted the advantages of building a house from the ground up as opposed to purchasing an already constructed one.
“Honestly, buying a house is a different experience compared to building one. Building is something special,” the singer stated.
Khaligraph’s mansion draws reactions
Rapper Khaligraph Jones recently faced criticism after moving into his lavish new mansion, which some netizens compared to a shopping mall.
Taking to his Instagram stories, the Yes Bana hitmaker noted that these were the exact problems he had been looking forward to.
“Unaamka unapata unatrend sababu umejenga nyumba kubwa inakaa kama mall; God knows these are the problems I was wishing for,” Khaligraph Jones wrote.
The rapper had initially posted a photo of himself and his mother relaxing in the spacious living room of his home.
However, instead of admiration, some netizens turned his achievement into the subject of humorous debate, comparing it to a mall.
Some even went so far as to Photoshop images of his home, adding shops and storefronts to make it resemble a mall.
