Manyora Alleges What The Kikuyu Nation Should Do in That They Have Dominated BusinessSector

In a recent YouTube interview, renowned political analyst Herman Manyora delved into the political intricacies surrounding the Kikuyu community and their aspirations towards the presidency in Kenya. His insights provide a fresh perspective on the dynamics of power, economics, and the need for inter-community unity.

The Kikuyu community is undeniably influential in Kenya. With dominance in the business sector and a high number of educated members, they have set a benchmark for success in the country. Manyora acknowledges these achievements, stating that the Kikuyu’s prominent role in Kenyan business and their academic accomplishments should shape their broader political strategy.

According to Manyora, given their established foothold in significant sectors, the Kikuyu community should focus less on securing the presidency, at least for the time being. He suggests that they let other communities vie for this political position, especially since the Kikuyu can always channel their considerable financial capabilities to regain political leverage at a later time.

This strategic withdrawal, as proposed by Manyora, is rooted in long-term political thinking. He posits that a community’s dominance in both the economic and political spheres can be perceived as overreach by other groups. By stepping back from the presidential race, the Kikuyu might pave the way for more harmonious inter-community relationships, minimizing potential conflicts and jealousies.

Manyora’s cautionary advice stems from a potential scenario he sketches out that if the Kikuyu community clings to political power while simultaneously dominating major economic sectors, they might inadvertently create a precarious situation for themselves. If, for any reason, political power were to elude them in the future, regaining it might prove more challenging than anticipated.

To put it bluntly, Manyora believes that there is a danger in holding onto too much power. When a community or group dominates multiple facets of a society, it can lead to feelings of resentment or perceptions of inequity among other groups. By allowing for a more equitable distribution of political power, the Kikuyu can solidify their long-term influence and foster goodwill among other communities.
