Historian Macharia Munene has called president Ruto to lead by example by fostering peace and settling issues affecting Kenyans before leading mission in solving conflict in war torn Sudan. Ruto was appointed by IGAD to lead peace mission in Sudan between military commander General Fattah al-Burhan and Rapid Support Forces General Dagalo.Speaking during a joint interview on Thursday, July 13 at NTV AM Live show, the historian challenged Ruto to address Azimio protests and ensure Kenyans are contented before extending arm to help an hurting neighbors.
To honor Raila’s directive on anti-establishment protests, Azimio supporters and discontented Kenyans took to the streets on Wednesday calling government to lower the cost of living. Munene exuded confidence that along the path the president and his arch rival will strike a deal that will halt protests.Azimio has announced to intensify protests by increasing the frequency to thrice a week.
