Eric Theuri the head of the Law Society of Kenya, claims that Singh Jasawant the owner of Kabras Sugar Company was kidnapped by police. He claimed that in order to carry out the kidnapping in broad daylight the officers wore masks over their faces.
Theuri goes on to claim that the cops were sent to carry out this task on behalf of a government official. The LSK President believes it is appropriate to place blame for the kidnapping on the police, claiming that it was planned and that they were fully aware that the billionaire needed to make a halt on the highway to make room for other vehicles at the intersection.
Ekuru Aukot, a former presidential candidate and attorney, disagrees with LSK Boss’ viewpoint and claims that he is merely using politics to assign responsibility. He claimed that the cops shouldn’t be held accountable because the millionaire has many friends in the political world. He claimed that everyone is vulnerable to kidnapping and that criminals are not the only ones who can do it.
However, a response about the incident is anticipated from the interior ministry. More information about the kidnappers and the government’s plans for them will be revealed.
