On Monday, August 5, Nairobi Governor Johnson Sakaja announced a Cabinet reshuffle affecting various County Executive Committee Members (CECMs). This is the second reshuffle he has done in two years since taking office in 2022.
In the changes, Geoffrey Mosiria, who was in the Health Facilities docket was moved to Environment, while Tiras Njoroge was reassigned from Smart Nairobi to Revenue Administration and also made the acting CCO for ICT Infrastructure.
Boniface Nyamu was moved from Mobility to Business and Hustler Opportunities, while Zipporah Mwangi was reassigned from Business and Hustler Opportunities to Public Participation, Citizen Engagement and Customer Service.

Machel Waikenda, who was in Economic Planning was moved to Mobility, as George Mutiso will leave Social Services for Cooperatives.
Furthermore, Hibrahim Otieno was moved from Environment to Health Facilities while John Lintari will take over Economic Planning from ICT Infrastructure.
At the same time, Lydia Mathia left the Public Participation, Citizen Engagement and Customer Service docket for the Housing and Urban Renewal sector, while Wilson Gakuya moved from Revenue Administration to the Smart Nairobi docket.
Sakaja also replaced Acting County Secretary Patrick Analo naming Godfrey Akumali in a similar capacity.
“Mr. Patrick Analo Akivaga maintains his substantive position as Chief Officer of Urban Planning and Development,” Governor Skaja added.
