Homabay Town constituency MP, George Peter Kaluma, has responded strongly to a recent claim made by prominent blogger Boniface Mwangi.

Mwangi alleged that Ogande Girls High School is demanding a payment of Ksh 22,000 from a parent, reportedly due to her daughter’s involvement in lesbianism.
“Ogande Girls High School is supposedly asking a parent to pay Ksh 22,000 because her daughter was allegedy involved in lesbianiam.” Boniface Mwangi wrote.
Expressing his astonishment, Kaluma raised questions about the presence of a lesbian student at Ogande Girls High School, which he referred to as the “best school South of Sahara.” In a bold statement, he suggested that if the claim holds any truth, the student should be required to pay sh.100,000 to “cleanse that satanic spirit” from the school.
“How did a lesbian find her way into Ogande Girls High School, the best school South of Sahara! Let her pay sh.100,000 to cleanse that satanic spirit from our school, if this is true.” MP Peter Kaluma wrote.
