The Head of State, His Excellency William Ruto is currently in Kisii county. He’s currently addressing residents at Nyamasege area where he’s expected to launch Omoringamu-Nyansara roads.
Shortly before he spoke, Kisii county Governor Hon Simba Arati, a staunch ally of the ODM boss Raila Odinga asked the Head of State to fully take charge of the country and do whatever it takes to unite all Kenyans.
Governor Simba reminded Ruto that he was also a member of ODM party in the past and should therefore allow those who’re currently in the party to thrive.
Arati was reacting to the critics launched from the opposition side towards President Ruto’s administration. However, he maintained that he’ll continue working closely with the ruling government in spite of their political differences.
Reacting to Arati’s remarks, the President admitted that he was once an ODM member but later joined other political forces which have since turned out to be fruitful.
Further, President Ruto jokingly asked the governor to also dump ODM and defect to UDA and live to gain more political fruits in future. The crowd went wild with cheers accompanied with laughter amongst them.
