A moment of laughter has been witnessed during the Azimio coalition press briefing after Nairobi senator Edwin Sifuna cracked a joke about Senator Cherargei following his controversial remarks.
According to the video shared, Sifuna boasted that Cherargei can challenge him in a physical fight despite his threats, he claimed that he only talks recklessly because he knows he is in the government and can be protected incase he is busted.
“Some of these MPs who talk like senator Cherargei, who can he even fight here, he talks like that because he knows he can hide behind the instruments of violence of the state, instead of organizing your boys to fight peaceful demonistrators come and fight Sifuna physically,” Senator Sifuna said leaving the lawmakers in laughter.
Sifuna has challenged Cherargei to convey a crisis meeting in the government to lower the cost of living so that the Azimio coalition can not have a reason to rally their supporters to the streets.
