Political analyst Lee Makwiny has taken to his YouTube channel to discuss the showdown between President William Ruto and Uhuru Kenyatta following ugly scenes that unfolded yesterday at Uhuru’s Son’s residence.
Lee warned the Kenya Kwanza administration and William Ruto in particular saying that by invading Uhuru’s family President Ruto crossed the red line which he will not survive politically speaking.
Lee Makwiny stated that William Ruto used Mount Kenya against President Uhuru Kenyatta to rise into power saying that the same card may be used by the former president to shoot down President William Ruto.
He linked the arrest of Maina Njenga with Uhuru’s son’s residence saying that the government was testing the waters to see the reaction of the Mount Kenya region. He said that if Mount Kenya embraces yesterday’s showdown, the government may go ahead and raid Uhuru’s residence.
He stated that Maina Njenga’s Arrest was to ensure that there is no insurrection from Mungiki when the government raids Uhuru’s family. The government has always accused Maina Njenga of being financed by Uhuru Kenyatta to sponsor youths in Mount Kenya to demonstrate.
Lee also added that the government is provoking the former president into active politics so that they may use political cards to attack him.
“Kenya Kwanza are trying to provoke Uhuru Kenyatta into politics. For a long time, Uhuru Kenyatta avoided active politics and for the first time yesterday Uhuru Kenyatta responded to the government,” said Lee Makwiny.
In addition, Makwiny weighed that the government is creating a narrative that Uhuru Kenyatta and Raila Odinga are planning a coup.
“In my view, Kenya Kwanza is on a mission to create a narrative that Raila Odinga and Uhuru Kenyatta are planning a Coup,” he said.
