Former Root Party presidential running mate during the August 9 general elections Hon Justina Wamae has reacted through her official twitter page hours after Rigathi Gachagua’s speech during the burial of Mau Mau freedom fighters.
“After watching the speeches between DP Riggy G and Former Prime Minister during Mau Mau freedom fighter’s burial today and subsequent reactions by Kenyans on social media. My observation is;
1. Our DP harbours a lot of bitterness that makes him forget that “wageni ni kama maji ya mto, yapita tu.” Kikuyus are known to be very welcoming and peace loving.Â
2. In the event that you meet your enemy in a burial, just know the host family is your mutual friend. That is not the best day to express your hatred or political differences because both of you are equal to the bereaved.
Personally I have never been on the side of DP or Former PM but if we happen to meet in burials, weddings or parties basic human courtesy is checks in”. Said Hon. Justina Wamae former Root Party presidential running mate.
