President William Ruto has landed himself in deep trouble following the comments that he had made recently. This is after leaders from the camp of Azimio La Umoja One Kenya have come out to demand an immediate show of apology from him.
The matter has resulted from the manner in which the president addressed the issue of the cases that some of the businessmen who claims to have bought Mumias Sugar Company had filed in court. They are having a conflict as to who is the exact individual that is the true owner of the factory.
The president had issued a statement telling them to withdraw the cases they had filed in court and informing them that Mumias Sugar Company belongs to the people of the region.
Following these comments, Azimio leaders have now come out to ask the president to give an apology over what he said concerning those cases pertaining the ownership of Mumias Sugar Company.
The president has been maintaining that he is going to revive the sugar sector in the country as well as deal with those cartels who have dominated it.
