Ruto and his Interior Cabinet Secretary Kithure Kindiki had issued warnings that demonstrations would not be permitted in the nation, but yesterday, Azimio urged Kenyans to turn out in large numbers for tomorrow’s demonstrations, which are a protest against the nation’s high cost of living and the Finance Act 2023, which the high court had temporarily suspended.
