Dennis Itumbi, a well-known UDA blogger, has revealed what Nzioka Waita is accused of doing to President William Ruto and the course of action that his employer, Uhuru Kenyatta, took in response.
Itumbi has asserted that Waita was responsible for setting up a WhatsApp group, which he then allegedly utilised to ensure that no images of Ruto in his capacity as the deputy president appeared on either public or state-owned pages.
Itumbi claims that Uhuru’s response was to demote him at one point from his post as the head of the public service and promote him to chief of staff.
Itumbi has added, in defence of himself, that he will never behave with the same level of pettiness as the former chief of staff.
Itumbi has been an astute supporter and influential force to President Ruto especially during the campaigns towards the August general elections last year.
