The three judge bench ruling regarding the appointment of 50 Chief Administrative Secretaries (CASs) by president William Ruto has sparked national debate with a section of Kenyans lauding the ruling with another group opposing the judgement.
On Monday, July 3 afternoon ruling, the court quashed the appointment of fifty CASs saying the process was unconstitutional. The judges accused the Public Service Commission of failure to involve Kenyans before appointing the CASs.
As leaders, pundits and Kenyans continue to share their thoughts on the ruling, Dennis Itumbi has broken silence on the matter. Through his Facebook page, Itumbi who is among those affected disclosed that his position in Kenya Kwanza administration is cemented and despite of the court ruling against his appointment, he still has a role to play in the government.
Before his appointment to executive, Itumbi who prides self as a pig farmer, digital creator and Hustlers spokesman revealed he is an errand guy in Ruto’s administration and it’s in that capacity he will now concentrate his energies on.Itumbi is among the 50 Chief Administrative Secretaries who were sworn in by president Ruto months ago. The former played a critical role in maintaining Ruto’s online fanbase base and it’s through his efforts UDA party made a major breakthrough in social media platforms.
