Politics of presidential flag bearer seems to be encroaching the opposition coalition Azimio la Umoja one Kenya. As the political season ends and usher in a new one, politicians are aligning themselves on who to support for presidency come 2027.
Kalonzo Musyoka is known to have been a loyal for the former prime minister Raila Odinga for a long time. For the record in three successive elections, the wiper leader has backed ODM chief. However, in all attempts Odinga could not emerge the winner.
Now, Makueni Senator Dan Maanzo has send a clear message to ODM leader that, they want their back scratched too. According to the said senator, they have supported Raila three times and this time round he has to reciprocate.
Azimio leader has not declared whether he will vie in 2027 or not, but the age factor makes people think he may hang boots and support another leader.
