“One of the things that now breaks my heart is that the same people who were tear-gassed to bring us the 2nd Liberation are having to go through the same conditions 33 years later for the same reasons. Is this who we have become? Am I dreaming”? Said Hon. Reuben Kigame.

According to him Kenya is not progressing after Raila Odinga and other top leaders who fought to liberate Kenya over 33 year’s ago are going through the same fight to liberate Kenya again.

“From the deepest corners of my heart, I plead that William Ruto and his government should apologize for the kind of treatment visited on Mutunga, John Khaminwa, Raila Odinga and all peaceful demonstrators by the police. Waite hawa wazee mzungumze”. He added.

President William Ruto will have to drop the finance bill 2023 or face more demonstrations against his government.

“If the same people who demonstrated 33 years ago choose to demonstrate for the same reasons, surely a nation ought to stop, think and listen”. Said Hon. Reuben Kigame.
