‘I will bring him to Bukhungu stadium’ – Salasya says after attending Israel Mbonyi’s concert

Mumias East Member of Parliament (MP) Peter Salasya has vowed to take Rwandese gospel musician Israel Mbonyi to Bukhungu Stadium in Kakamega.

Salasya who on Saturday, August 10, 2024, attended the renowned gospel star’s concert at Ulinzi Sports Complex dubbed Africa Worship Experience, shared a video dancing to Israel Mbonyi’s Nina Siri hit, stating that such worship experience moments should also be felt in Kakamega.

He also noted that he will be visiting Mbonyi in his home country in Rwanda.

“I will bring him in Bukhungu stadium for worship experience moments .I will be visiting him in Rwanda Kigali,” Salasya captioned his video on Instagram.

The youthful lawmaker also had a chance of having a sit-down with Mbonyi, and took photos which he has shared on his Instagram account.

Salasya says he has tapped on the grace of being a worshipper, by meeting Mbonyi, and attending his concert.

While acknowledging that he had witnessed a wonderful worship experience, Salasya heaped praises at Mbonyi, saying that he is spiritual and worships in spirit.

“I have also tapped on the grace of being a worshipper. What a wonderful worship experience. He is spiritual and worships in spirit,” Salasya stated.

Salasya recently proclaimed his potential as a pastor noting that he would make a very truthful shepherd.

The controversial MP stated that being born again does not mean one denounces drinking alcohol.

Israel Mbonyi officially landed in Nairobi, Kenya on August 8, 2024, ahead of his performance at Ulinzi Sports Complex over the weekend.

Israel Mbonyi concert tickets

Tickets for his concert were going for Ksh20,000 for first-class VVIP, Kshs12,000 for VVIP,  Ksh8,000 for VIP and Ksh3,000 for regular.

The Africa Worship Experience concert ran from 12 pm to 8 pm on Saturday, August 10, 2024.

Mbonyi shared the stage with several Kenyan gospel artistes including Pitson, Karura Voices, Timeless Noel, Destiny Voices, k-Krew worship, Adonage Band, and DJ Gee Gee.

On Friday, August 9, 2024, Mbonyi attended the Churchill Show live recording event at Carnivore Grounds, where he made a brief performance.
