Opposition Leader Raila Odinga allegedly won the 2022 general election, this is according to a popular lawyer from Mt Kenya
Lawyer Wahome Thuku has opined that Raila’s votes were in one way or another, stolen in a big way as he poked holes in the new allegations being raised by Raila’s chief agent in the election, Saitabao Ole Kanchory.
“I AM one of those who believe Raila Odinga beat William Ruto in last year’s General election. I know they stole votes big. But even assuming I am wrong, according to the IEBC, Ruto won by 233,520 votes,” Wahome Thuku said.
He poked holes in the allegations that Saitabao Ole Kanchory made in his book titled ”Why Baba is Not The 5th.”
In the book, Saitabao Ole Kanchory claimed that Azimio’s campaigns were disorganized, that his command centre was disunited and that Raila and his running mate Martha Karua did not even bother to know what was happening to their command centre and with their agents.
Wahome Thukhu has raised questions about why Raila was defeated by Ruto by 233,520 votes only if indeed his campaign and team were disorganised as claimed by lawyer Saitabao Ole Kanchory.
Wahome noted that just 233,520 votes only means Ruto beat Raila by just one constituency yet we are being told Raila was disorganised during a votes-hunting mission
“Yani after five years of campaigns and pouring money, Ruto only won by 233,502.
“233,502 is actually the size of voters in Kajiado East. Meaning Ruto only won by one Constituency,” Wahome Thuku opined.
The lawyer who also happened to be a blogger hit out at top government officials who keep on attacking Raila by saying that he lost the election.
“And they have the lungs to keep shouting how Raila was NOT elected by anyone,” he concluded
