While speaking at Our Lady Consolata Mugoiri Girls High School in Kiharu Constituency, Murang’a County at an event that was attended by President William Ruto, MP Ndindi Nyoro firmly declared that demonstrations are not allowed in this country.
That those who think that there is time for demonstrations should realise that the president is not the type of person to be scared.
Nyoro said, “Na ukanyagie hapo maneno ya maandamano muheshimiwa Rais, tumesema hakuna maandamano Kenya… Wale ambao wanafikiria kuna time ya maandamano I hope by now you have seen that huyu president si wa kutisha.”
He went ahead to commend the police for doing a good job of countering the demonstrations and protecting property.
That the program that was suggested to increase their salaries should be implemented immediately to reward them for being patriotic to their nation.
“Our security force, I thank you so much for your patriotism and professionalism. I would like to ask that the task force that was formed to take care of the well-being of our police officers should be implemented so that we increase their salaries because they are doing a good job of protecting public property and ending protests,” Nyoro said.
