President Ruto and his deputy Rigathi Gachagua are today attending thanksgiving ceremony of PS Raymond Omolo in Homa Bay county where several leaders are also in attendance. However the former Nairobi county governor Evans Kidero raised reactions after he mentioned Gachagua’s new name from the region.
According to the video clip seen by the writer online, hon Evans Kidero was called to address the leaders and residents during the event when he started by greeting president Ruto and to the deputy president, he said that the residents have given him a name which is known as ‘Gachagua Odhiambo Otieno’.
This however raised reactions from the residents who were in attendance as they laughed off at the name as hon Kidero went on teasing deputy Gachagua that that’s how the people from Nyanza call him with the audience maintaining the laughter. The move also left the deputy president and other leaders in excitement.
