Migori woman Representative Fatuma Mohammed had wondered why the Parliament wad relying on issues picked on social media to try and have a cabinet secretary leave office. Or why the national assembly would rely on allegations without substantiation to term a cabinet secretary as incompetent.

This was in a session yesterday where the Cabinet secretary for Sport’s, Ababu Namwamba had been summoned to have his say on allegations by some Kenya Kwanza honchos. Deputy Speaker Gladys Shollei had lamented on the low quality of sports kits that Kenyan Olympians donned when they recently went for a competition outside the country. She lamented that some of them even spent at her home in Kitisuru saying that most of the kits were substandard. He was also tasked to explain why the Talanta Hela app was not yet in the app stores despite having been launched.

Migori woman wondered on the basis for calling out Ababu’s head wondering that the allegations were only written online. No substantial evidence has been tabled so far. From some quarter’s, it is seen as a witch hunting move against the CS by some politician’s in the Kenya Kwanza government.
