Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has blasted Azimio’s leader who lamented that the Nyanza region has been locked out of the subsidized fertiliser program. The DP stated that instead of Azimio leaders mobilizing their supporters to register to be beneficiaries of subsidized fertiliser, they were asking them to take to the streets in protest.
Gachagua went ahead and welcomed the Azimio MP plea saying that the Azimio leaders are now appreciating the impact of the government’s subsidized fertiliser. He further urged the leaders to mobilise their supporters to register for the upcoming subsidized fertiliser program.
Rigathi further asserted that there is no need for dialogue because the Azimio coalition has realised that the way to address the cost of living is by going to the farms.
“Now that Azimio characters have accepted that they need subsidized fertilizer to lower the cost of living, then we are now on the same page. So I don’t know what the dialogue is for if the opposition has accepted that the way to lower the cost of living is by going to the farm,”
