A high level security meeting that was attended by the Inspector General of Police Japhet Koome, 3 Cabinet Secretaries, Central Bank of Kenya Governor Kamau Thugge, others can be revealed.
According to the latest information shared by Cabinet Secretary for Interior and National Administration Professor Kithure Kindiki, he chaired a high level security meeting on counter financing of terorrism inter-ministerial committee today at his Harambee House office in Nairobi.
Cabinet Secretary for Foreign and Diaspora Affairs Alfred Mutua, Cabinet Secretary for Treasury Professor Njuguna Ndungu, Central Bank of Kenya Governor Kamau Thugge, Director General of Immigration and Citizen Services Evelyn Cheluget and the Inspector General of Police Japhet Koome were present.

This high level security meeting on counter financing of terorrism comes at a time when the country has recorded an increase in the terorrist attacks targeting both civilians and security officers especially in North Eastern parts of the country and the coastal region especially in Lamu County.
