Azimio La Umoja, the governor of the One Kenya Alliance, went majestically to his waiting V8 automobile while having his umbrella carried for him. It was an impressive demonstration of power and authority. When it started to rain during a function in his county, Trans Nzoia County Governor and DAP-K Party Deputy Party Leader George Natembeya showed strength and control by having his security carry his umbrella for him as he headed to his car.

Natembeya was chosen as governor for the first time in the most recent general elections on the DAP-K party platform. He served as the Rift Valley Regional Commissioner before entering politics.
