Kenyan popular governor, Mbarire have made a major announcement through social media platforms. The Embu Governor Cecily Mbarire sent home a number of employees home after major tragedy which left a number of families homeless. Cecily Mbarire interdict five employees after a tragedy left eight families homeless.

As seen on the reports shared by a local media house just a few minutes ago, the governor sent home five employees holding major roles in the county. Among those interdicted include the Director of Disaster Management and firefighters who were only a few kilometres away when the accident occurred.

Speaking on social media platforms, the governor noted’ “Our fire department did not respond at all, it took the help of firefighters from Kirinyaga County. We lost three houses.”
